This Fortune 500 client is a nation-wide leader in the healthcare services field and they pride themselves on their ability to provide a wide range of government sponsored healthcare programs; including a variety of insurance solutions. Currently, they are seeking a Director of Customer Service to ensure that the call center is running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate, would have 7 years of Call Center Management experience

Responsibilities of the Director of Customer Service:
  • Ensure that the department and other staff members are effectively meeting company goals
  • Coordinate with the human resource department in regards to interviews, hiring, firing, and other employee relations event
  • Provide leadership to the team in regards to strategy, coaching, performance management, and planning
  • Prepare and analyze department budgets and forecast future income; provide upper- management with information to ensure sound financial decisions
  • Develop policies and procedures for staff members and implement performance standards for customer service functions
  • Build and manage relationships with current/potential clients

Requirements of the Director of Customer Service:
  • Bachelor s degree required or relevant experience
  • Must have 7 years of experience in a call center environment
  • Must have call center management experience specifically; not just supervision
  • Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and industry practices
  • Must have a start-up mentality (brand new building) and comfortable with getting your hands dirty
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on full-time basis
