Compensation of the Plastics Lab Operator:

Starting salary for this position is $12.00 per hour. Once hired on full-time, benefits are available immediately including health insurance, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Additional Responsibilities of the Plastics Lab Operator:
  • Responsible for all element of the manufacturing process including production, material testing, inventory control/accuracy, equipment trouble shooting and maintaining the plant facility.
  • Adhere to all safe work practices, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) in the execution of assigned duties.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves and load materials onto trailers and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using hand tools.
  • Operate presses and other related equipment to compress blends into final dosage tablets.
  • Perform and record periodic quality checks on weight, thickness, hardness and friability (et. Al) at various stages of the process according to manufacturing instructions and SOPs.
  • Continuous improvement focused and quality oriented as such is expected to participate in related activities and events.

Job Requirements of the Plastics Lab Operator:
  • Ability to comprehend, follow and carryout instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems/variations involving standardized situations.
  • Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
  • Candidate must meet drug and background screening requirements.
