Compensation of Service Manager:
  • $30, 000-35, 000

Additional Responsibilities of Service Manager:
  • Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Operations Management Responsible for the execution of work analysis, vehicle planning and scheduling, scheduling and assigning work to technicians
  • Responsible for optimizing labor at the shop, and ensuring the optimal mix of straight time, O/T and Outside Repair
  • Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when it comes to disposing of hazardous or toxic materials.
  • Maintain a high level of guest service
  • Adhere to best practices when working in the automotive service environment by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible

Job Requirements of Service Manager:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and communicate with employees, management or customers.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Basic computer skills required
  • A valid driver s license and a driving record clear of major violations
