Key contact for working with supplier related issues.
Perform problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to eliminate recurrence of nonconformances.
Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase supplier capability to consistently meet requirements.
Work with Purchasing to improve and maintain key supplier audit system and schedule.
Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly monitored, reported, and evaluated.
Conduct supplier audits to drive continuous improvement, establishing short/long-term quality goals for improvement.
Actively manage suppliers to ensure there are no regressions with implementation of new processes.
Assist Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to evaluate and qualify new supplier materials.
Quality contact for supplier First Article approvals/action.
Material Review Board member Disposition and resolution of nonconformance issues of supplied materials.
Bachelors Degree required with 3 to 5 years of Quality Assurance experience and knowledge of various quality system methodologies and techniques.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work well with diverse groups of people.
Function independently without direct supervision and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
