Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads and coordinates activities/projects across multiple Information Technology teams.
  • Accountable for translating business requirements into a technical solution.
  • Accountable for requirements, design, coding, testing and implementing deliverables.
  • Trouble shoots, analyzes, researches and resolves application issues/cases.
  • Creates/maintains technical and functional documentation for new and existing HR applications.
  • Monitors jobs/logs for successful completions/database loads.
  • Performs application impact analysis and communicates findings to functional SME
  • Provides time/effort estimates to functional SME for enhancement/project requests
  • May provide mentorship and technical development coaching/oversight.
  • Keeps SME informed of progress/issues/status.
  • Supports functional BSA in decommissioning inactive applications.
  • Familiar with Single Sign On (SSO) practices.
  • Provides and communicates risk management and trade-off decisions to functional SME
  • Follows published standards and SDLC methodologies.

Job Requirements:
  • Solid technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development required.
  • Experience with Windows application support required.
  • Experience with Oracle or SQL Server required
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET C# & VB required; Visual Basic 6.
  • Experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with DB2/MVS and Microsoft Access a plus.
  • Experience with Windows and browser security required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Visio; Project a plus.
  • Remain current with new technologies and maintains extensive knowledge of the field.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as effective listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
