We have an opportunity with a leading provider of petroleum who is seeking an HR Manager, who will be responsible for managing the company benefit programs and payroll functions; assisting in the development, planning, and implementation of HR strategy, policies, procedures, and initiatives; and acting as a resource for managers related to employment law and company policies, procedures and values.

Responsibilities of HR Manager:
  • Ensure organizational policies and procedures are adhered
  • Act as a resource for all employee related issues
  • Manage company payroll function
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding employment (ADA, ACA, FMLA, Workers Comp, EEO, HIPAA and FLSA)
  • Complete required recordkeeping, compliance reporting and testing (EEO-1 & 5500)
  • Respond and review all Unemployment Claims
  • Manage companywide performance appraisal process
  • Prepare HR Data Analytics as it relates to employee turnover, retention and attraction

Requirements:
  • Requires 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll/Benefits
  • Strong preference for Retail Industry experience; Strong preference for 1, 200+ employee base experience
  • Strong preference for Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, or other closely related business field
  • Strong preference for SHRM membership, and PHR/SPHR certification - or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
