Compensation of Order Processor and Customer Service Rep:

  • $15 per hour

Additional Responsibilities of the Order Processor and Customer Service Rep:

  • Perform duties required in understanding company goals and policies as applied to customer needs and expectations in providing fast, friendly and accurate service to cultivate the friendship of new customers and establish them as loyal repeat customers

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of current equipment, with advance understanding of previous press models and their specific parts and accessories. Must have the capability to precisely interpret records and provide complete parts service

  • Must have a wide mechanical and electrical knowledge with ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Efficient and accurate processing of Domestic/International orders, via telephone, mail or fax, based on a description of function and usage on various models of machines, in the Oracle System

  • Assist Department Manager in providing product, Oracle and procedure training to co-workers

  • Verify mail order confirmations

  • Follow up on delayed or incorrect shipments with parts coordinator. Coordinate activities with internal departments

  • Complete handling of repairs, replacement and damaged shipments

  • Determine warranty and non-warranty conditions. Prepare return material authorizations, gather records and document entire transaction

  • Coordinate daily interdepartmental functions relating to parts service/order processing with NPD, Materials, Shipping and supplement the effort of Technical Service as well as the customer

  • Respond to Domestic/International complaints, shortages and adjustments and provide replies to satisfy standard problems and matters while maintaining good customer relations

  • Compile information such as part numbers, prices, delivery terms and requirements. Formulate and send quotations, invoices, discern and provide customer assistance data and documents when requested or required

  • Update and maintain customer records

  • Prepare Proforma invoices and international shipping documentation

  • Send faxes, type letters, memorandums and other correspondence as required

  • Prepare extensive Preventive Maintenance and Press Audit quotations.

  • Perform duties required to keep the order processing system flowing smoothly

  • And other duties that may be assigned

Additional Requirements of the Order Processor and Customer Service Rep:

  • Outstanding communication and customer relation skills

  • Mechanical/electrical knowledge

  • Basic Microsoft Office

  • Foreign language and export experience a plus

  • Minimal supervision other than establishing guidelines

  • Direct supervision on special projects or problems only

  • Must posses leadership potential

  • Associates degree and/or 5+ years equivalent experience in manufacturing customer service (parts related)

  • Strong Mechanical/Electrical knowledge

  • 3-5 years Customer Service experience

  • Must meet client s background and drug screening requirements
