This Fortune 500 client is a nation-wide leader in the healthcare services field and they pride themselves on their ability to provide a wide range of government sponsored healthcare programs; including a variety of insurance solutions. Currently, they are seeking a Provider Network Manager (Managed Care) to provide support for the management of physician, hospital, and ancillary provider recruitment.

Position: Direct Hire

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Responsibilities of the Provider Network Manager (Managed Care):
  • Develop activities for the recruitment and contracting of providers that are in new or prospective markets
  • Provide leadership to team members regarding performance management, coaching, hiring, and career development
  • Prepare for new and existing market expansions to ensure that needs are identified and completed
  • Perform contract negotiations and develop strategic networking initiatives
  • Understand and track contract financial performance to guide future contract negotiations
  • Develop a solid provider network to ensure that contractual requirements are met
  • Ensure the company is compliant with state, federal, and product guidelines

Requirements of the Provider Network Manager (Managed Care):
  • Bachelor s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Must have 4+ years of provider recruitment, contracting, contract analysis, or provider relations experience
  • Knowledgeable of network development processes, contract language, principles of negotiation, credentialing and call center operations
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on full-time basis
