Maintenance Technician, General Maintenance, Maintenance Worker, HVAC, Refrigeration Repair
Long-term, Contract, Full Time
St. Louis County St. Louis, MO
Monday-Friday, 10: 00 am to 6: 30 pm
Compensation of Refrigeration Technician:
$27- $29 per hour, DOE
Additional Responsibilities of Refrigeration Technician:
Performs maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
Reports daily work performed and deficiencies to Chief Engineer.
Must be familiar with kitchen and refrigeration equipment and all refrigerants in the facility.
Performs troubleshooting, leak checks, and charge refrigeration checks.
Must be able to perform HVAC maintenance.
Must be able to read complex blueprints, sketches and schematics.
Repair and perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on the exterior irrigation system, interior and exterior water fountain.
Follow and implement standard Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
Complete Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance (PM) paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
Must maintain safe work practices in support of OSHA Health and Safety, NFPA 70e and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Compliance standards as it applies to assigned duties.
Must Maintain refrigerant usage logs for the site.
Additional Requirements of Refrigeration Technician:
General knowledge of Walk In and Reach in Refrigerator and Freezers repair maintenance.
Must work related experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in commercial and industrial environments.
HVAC Journeyman License is Required
5yrs experience in maintain similar type and size commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification.
Must have a current driver license.
Must have good oral and written communication skills. Ability to prepare reports.
Must be self-motivated and work with little supervision.
Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders, work at heights and be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools.
Must have PC skills/computer knowledge.
Must meet client s background and drug testing requirements.
High School Diploma or GED
