We have an opportunity with a leading provider of petroleum who is seeking a Regulatory Environmental Compliance Manager, the ideal candidate will manage all aspects related to prevention, reporting and remediation of all releases of petroleum into the environment through closure with the appropriate state or federal agency. .

Manages & Supervises all components of regulatory compliance including
Manages all phases of remediation of petroleum releases including:
Develop and/or review work plans, cost proposals, analytical results, corrective action recommendations, and closure requests internally or by Environmental Consultants as appropriate to achieve closure of existing and new petroleum releases in a timely and cost-effective manner;
Track and approve all remediation expenditures and assure reimbursement of 100% of eligible expense from Insurance Fund
Manage new and existing projects (UST maintenance repair projects, tanks/lines, etc., and UST removal projects) including budget management, schedule/timeline management, etc.
Analyze and evaluate the impact of chemicals of concern to the environment, human health and safety within the framework of Risk Based Corrective Action models
Knowledge of regulated components of underground or above ground petroleum storage tank systems including vapor recovery components, automatic tank gauges, leak detection equipment, overfill and overspill, piping components and dispensers
Represent the Company s interests related to new and existing regulation by participating in work groups, rulemaking, guidance and the legislature
3-5 years in environmental/regulatory position, consultant, or related field work
Underground Storage Tank (UST) experience
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations: Valid driver s license in only one state; APCP Designated Person, Missouri Class A/B Operator
NOTE: Position is a split location: 2-3 days per week in field across greater St. Louis area store sites, and therefore 2-3 days per week at Cuba, MO support center office.
