Job Description
HireLevel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Parts Manager to join the team.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring the efficient management and distribution of parts to meet the needs of the shop. As a Parts Manager, you will have a dedicated office within the parts room, complete with air conditioning and heat for comfort. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a commitment to customer service.
This position may expand to include managing parts for two shop locations in the near future. This potential growth offers a unique opportunity for career advancement.
Job Title: Parts Manager
Location: Pontoon Beach, IL
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities for Parts Manager:
- Manage and maintain parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking parts.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of parts to service technicians and customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and control parts department expenses and budgets.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure parts availability for scheduled repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts room.
Qualifications for Parts Manager:
- Previous experience in parts management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and track parts efficiently.
- Proficient in computer software for inventory management and ordering.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed, including managing multiple shop locations in the future.
