Responsibilities of an Accounting Manager
- Oversee the accounting department
- Manage the accounts payable process from supplier invoice entry to payment
- Manage the accounts receivable process from invoicing customers to receiving payments
- Manage payroll
- Manage the inventory process from receiving to verifying quantity and value
- Providing reports required to manage the company
Requirements of an Accounting Manager
- Entry-level experience in accounting or financial management, with an understanding of oversight and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end cycles.
