Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Accounting/HR Specialist:
  • Assist in managing financial transactions including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments and receivables
  • Oversee HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary
  • Oversee the creation, communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and contribute to policy development
  • Assist in general accounting activities and serve as primary back up when needed

Job Requirements for Accounting/HR Specialist:
 
  • 3-5 years of proven success working in accounting or human resources or a combination of both
  • Experience with ADP a plus
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
