Job Description

HireLevel is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Hannibal, MO. The Senior Financial Analyst will support several platforms within the Meals & Snacks operating units. The Hannibal Finance Team is a highly collaborative team.  You will work alongside the Hannibal Finance Manager & partner SFA on a day-to-day basis, collaborate with Finance peers in Supply Chain on process development and best practices, as well as the Operating Units to deliver results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership for and preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts
  • Prepare monthly and interim financial reporting and analysis
  • Perform monthly financial closing tasks including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Transform financial data into insights for the plant operating teams
  • Provide thought leadership and analytical support in development of strategic initiatives (new product costing, productivity initiatives, site and/or function process improvements, etc)
  • Ensure effective financial internal controls & SOX compliance are in place and properly executed
  • Engage in cross-functional leadership opportunities that support the Plant’s Master Plan
  • Learn & Apply Continuous Improvement principles to all functional and plant processes

 Job Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Experience working in a finance/accounting role within manufacturing ideal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organization, prioritization skills with an attention to detail
  • Willingness to get outside of traditional financial roles to support plant operations
  • Demonstrated ability to
    • Communicate effectively with business partners (Partnership for Impact)
    • Be proactive, respond quickly, and smoothly adjust to changes (Situational Agility)
    • Synthesize many data sources to provide meaningful analysis and identify recommendations (Data Based Decision Making & Analytic Proficiency)
    • Manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously (Planning Acumen)
    • Work well on a team and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization
    • Establish process, make process improvements and effectively organize work (Process Excellence)
