HireLevel is seeking Assembly Techs in Fenton, MO!
Our client is a family-owned industrial electrical and automation company that has been serving customers since 1976. They specialize in industrial automation, motor control, power distribution, and custom-engineered control assemblies.
Job Type: Contract to Hire | Full-Time
Location: Fenton, MO
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 9a - 5p | On-Site
Salary: $20/hr

Responsibilities of Assembly Tech:
- Assemble electrical control panels and industrial equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Install and wire electrical components including relays, terminal blocks, switches, and other control devices.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production duties as needed
Requirements of Assembly Tech:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to use hands for handling materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable using common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Must have the ability to perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
