Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support daily operations in a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and contributing to efficient property and project management operations.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Harrisburg, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $17.00/hour

Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:
- Support the Project Manager with daily operations to ensure efficiency and organization
- Assist with public housing applications, including interviewing applicants and processing documentation
- Handle tenant communications, including complaints and lease enforcement
- Accept and process rent payments
- Assist with basic Accounts Receivable tasks
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take accurate messages
- Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence
- Schedule appointments and greet visitors professionally
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Maintain and update both paper and electronic filing systems
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist in preparing materials and attending Board Meetings
Requirements for the Assistant Property Manager:
- Minimum of 2 years of office or administrative experience required
- Experience in property management or HUD processes preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations professionally
- Must meet background check and drug screening requirements
