HireLevel is looking for a Box Truck Driver for a client in Indianapolis, IN

This role will Deliver tires and related products to customers with a vehicle of under 26,000 GVW. Load and unload truck. May be asked to perform certain sales, customer support, and information-gathering tasks – depending on company operational and sales philosophies.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $17/hr

Shift:  6:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities of Driver:

• Drive delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and company procedures
• Inspect and maintain equipment and vehicle in proper working condition; report problems as needed
• Read maps and follow geographic directions
• Load and unload your vehicle
• Check delivered products against shipping papers
• Convey receipts, documents, and payment to the company
• Maintain a friendly, customer-oriented attitude
• Be detail-oriented and safety conscious
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all traffic laws and apply those laws along with defensive driving techniques

Requirements of Driver:

• Maintain a valid For-Hire Driver’s License
• Frequently lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
• Squatting, bending, and twisting: frequent
• Valid For-Hire Driver’s License; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements
• Education: High school graduate or general education degree (GED) and For-Hire Driver’s License
• Experience: 6 months experience driving commercial vehicles preferred but not required
