Hirelevel is hiring for a Building and Maintenance Operations Coordinator in Maryland Heights, MO!

The Building and Maintenance Operations Coordinator position is responsible for consistent excellence in facilities care including building maintenance, operational support and security administration. In addition, the incumbent will act at times as the backup contact for the reception desk. The position will also assist in office reorganizations and renovations. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively multi-task work is critical to the success of the position.

Compensation of the Building and Maintenance Operations Coordinator:
  • $20-23 an hour DOE
  • Great benefit package

Responsibilities of Building and Maintenance Operations Coordinator:
  • Provide facilities help desk services and monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities cases to ensure consistent quality of service and work product
  • Coordinates with maintenance contractors and vendors to supervise and monitor document shredding, extermination, plumbing, appliance maintenance, electrical and other services
  • Performs building maintenance (repairing office furniture, lock replacement, or any other building-related items) as needed
  • Follow protocol for effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures
  • Implements monthly walk-thru of sites, annotating log for lighting, janitorial inspections and equipment problems
  • Preserves and enforces security policies and procedures
  • Assists with fire and building safety instructions and policy updates
  • Oversee merchant supply orders for multiple outlets and manage purchases within defined budgets
  • Monitor shipping requirements and duties for multiple outlets
  • Oversee office reorganizations and office space planning
  • Maintains inventory and upkeep of office kitchenette areas and conference rooms
  • Purchases and transports goods to and from local businesses as needed
  • Assists with event setup and management
  • Support facilities team members with tasks and projects as assigned
  • Implement and document process improvement for all aspects of facilities

Requirements of Building and Maintenance Operations Coordinator:
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor s degree preferred or FMP designation
  • 3+ years of previous facilities and or building operation services experience
  • Experience with Building/Facilities maintenance
  • Experience with security management preferred
  • Basic skills in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to perform physical activities including but not limited to lifting (50-80 lbs.), climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Basic proficiency with all Microsoft Office operating systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude coupled with dependability and reliability
  • Must meet client's background and drug screening requirements
