CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate
Job Description
HireLevel is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) for 50% of the role, and a Warehouse Team Member for the remaining 50%, in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Our client is a well-established distributor serving a 100-mile radius around Mount Vernon, IL.
Job Category: Full-Time
Location: Mt. Vernon, IL
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Saturday (Every other Saturday)
Compensation: $25-$26/hr.
Similar Positions: Driver, CDL Class A , Warehouse
Responsibilities of CDL Driver/Warehouse:
- Deliver goods to local locations and unload the truck
- Sort products
- Prepare orders
- Perform cleaning duties in the warehouse
- Retrieve supplies from the walk-in coolers
Requirements of CDL Driver/Warehouse:
- Must have air brake endorsement
- Have a clean driving record within the last 5 years and an Illinois drivers license
- Be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis all day
- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Must live within a 30 mile radius of Mount Vernon
- Must be licensed to operate a manual transmission truck
- Have up to date CDL physical
- Must be comfortable working in a cooler year round
