Job Description

HireLevel is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Lebanon, TN.
 
The Customer Service Representatives are responsible for maintaining their set clients and following orders through every stage, beginning with entering the customer’s order and ending with completing the shipment process.

Job Type: Contract, Contract to Hire
Location: Lebanon, TN
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8a – 4:30p
Pay: $17 – 18/hr. (Based on experience)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Managing daily office operations and maintaining an organized work environment.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open interactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support by communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Create BOL packets for the warehouse to ship freight out.
  • Follow up and/or track shipments with agents, carriers, and warehouses.
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Service & Freight Manager and team to maximize productivity.
  • Maintaining records of shipments and deliveries including dates, times, locations, and contacts into the system
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Enter shipping complaints/issues to the coordinating freight company after receiving customer complaints or delivery issues.
  • Research errors for data entry, system rating, carrier invoicing on freight invoices
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments. Verify that quantity, quality, and products delivered match invoices and assist the accounting department in tracking vendor credits and records of inventory, damages, and variances.
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Team to maximize productivity.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
  • Complete required documentation and follow the instructions of Food Safety, Security training, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all other Regulatory training programs.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • ·Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Must be 18 years of age in order to meet all workplace and food product safety regulations.
  • Must successfully complete Food Safety and Workplace Safety training courses.
  • Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug-screen.
  • Must be able to work overtime as determined by management.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate through written instruction and/or data entry.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for entirety of scheduled shift.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an Application for Employment
  • Must satisfactorily complete a reference and background check.
  • Must complete the Company’s Confidentiality Agreement
  • Must provide identification and already be authorized to be legally employed on an ongoing basis in the United States.
  • Must have tact and human relations skills in dealing with supervisors and other Food Concepts employees.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by management.
