HireLevel is seeking Quality Control Analytical Technician in Edwardsville, IL.


Job Title: Quality Control Analytical Technician 

Job Type: Full-time, Contract 

Location: Edwardsville, IL

Hours:8am-8pm OR 8a-8pm rotating schedule, holidays and weekends included

Rate of Pay: $23-$26

Similar Positions: Process Technician, Process Operations


Responsibilities of Quality Control Analytical Technician:

  • Perform a variety of analytical testing, including, solids, density, pH, sugar concentration, etc
  • Perform all analysis in an orderly and timely manner
  • Interpret, record and report data promptly and accurately 
  • Communicate test results effectively to pilot plant Process Operators
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot various scientific instruments
  • Monitor laboratory supplies and inventory levels
  • Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment 
  • Comply with all safety regulations 
  • Maintain confidentiality 
  • Must be able to move about the laboratory and industrial pilot plant environment, including, ascend / descend stairs and ladders, lift / carry 25 pounds and wear personal protective equipment in order to assist pilot plant Process Operators in sample collection, as well as potential equipment maintenance
  • Completes other duties as assigned


Requirements for Quality Control Analytical Technician:

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or closely related field
  • Associates in Applied Science (AAS) AND two years of industrial and/or commercial lab experience
  • Four years of industrial and/or commercial lab experience
