Compensation of Patient Liaison:
Responsibilities of Patient Liaison:
? Access and communicate patient lab reports to patients via phone or on-line portal.
? Gather and communicate patient treatment history to physician if follow-up care is needed.
? Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to specimens and results.
? Maintain patient confidence by keeping patient records information confidential.
? Serve as a liaison between the lab, doctors’ network and patient.
? Collect outstanding payments.
? Keep the Sexual Health Advocate informed of any issues with the labs and/or patients.
? Always represent the company in a positive light.
? Attend meetings as needed.
Requirements of Patient Liaison:
? Strong customer service background is required.
? Compassionate and caring
? Detailed oriented
? Able to maintain confidentiality.
? Communicates well both orally and in writing.
? Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
? Possess a basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
