Job Description
HireLevel is hiring immediately for Direct Support Workers in Marion, Herrin, Benton and West Frankfort, IL.
Recent Pay Increase – starting at $17/hr.
Candidates currently working with this client receive flexible working hours, overtime opportunities and holiday pay all while giving back to members of their community!
Job Category: Part-Time or Full-Time
Salary: $17 per hour; holidays are double time
Shift: Various
Excellent Employee Benefits after completing program requirements:
- After 90 days: $500
- After 6 months: $600
- After 1 year: $700
Responsibilities of Direct Support Worker
- Provides support and care to people by assisting in the development and implementation of training plans
- Assists people with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly home by following outlined procedures
- Maintains open communication and cooperative work effort with Lead DSP and other staff to assure quality and continuity of support to people
- 99Reports and/or documents routine and unusual events including completing daily logs, accident reports, or outcome data sheets
Requirements of Direct Support Worker:
- Provide a copy of high school diploma or GED
- Provide valid drivers license and insurance
- Ability to meet all drug testing and background requirements
- Must show proof of Covid Vaccination
