Job Description
HireLevel is looking for F Endorsement Drivers with warehouse experience in La Vergne, TN!
This role combines the responsibilities of a warehouse associate with the specialized skill of endorsement driving, requiring a dedicated individual who can ensure the safe and efficient transportation of windows while also contributing to warehouse operations.
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Location: La Vergne, TN
Compensation: $18 - $20/hr.
Shift: 1st shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM + Overtime (OT)
Responsibilities of Driver:
- F endorsement Driving: Safely operate company vehicles, primarily focusing on the transportation of windows to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull orders for delivery or pick-up, inspecting materials for transit readiness to guarantee quality and accuracy.
- Loading and Double-Checking: Load and double-check walk-in customer orders and delivery vehicle loads for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all products are securely and safely transported.
- Vendor and Carrier Support: Assist in the loading and unloading of vendor or common carrier vehicles as required, maintaining efficiency and accuracy in handling shipments.
- Documentation Accuracy: Double-check delivery order paperwork for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order before departure.
- Pick Ticket Orders: Complete pick ticket orders accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse and fulfillment processes.
Requirements of Driver:
- Endorsement: Possession of a valid F endorsement for driving commercial vehicles, demonstrating competence and proficiency in safe driving practices. Can get on the job.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential, with a strong commitment to showing up on time and minimizing absenteeism.
- Industrial Experience: Preferably 1 year of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, with a demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations.
- Screening Criteria: Capable of meeting background check and drug screening requirements, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required, providing a foundational level of education necessary for the role.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift weights up to 60 lbs consistently and perform routine climbing, bending, squatting, walking, and standing, meeting the physical demands of the job.
