Job Description
HireLevel is looking for Forklift Operators in Valmeyer, IL! This position will be temp to hire with a company that values growth and training. This position is a union position upon hire and offers great benefits! Come join their team of talent today!
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Contract Location: Valmeyer, IL
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $24.89/hr
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator :
- Operate a Stand-Up, Deep Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift
- Maintains clean work area
- Stacks crates, pallets, or other materials
- Reads packaging and order information to select proper orders/loads
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Works safely in a cold and freezer environment
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Steel Toe Boots are Required
- Must be able to meet client’s background and drug testing requirements.
- Good Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Computer Experience with manufacturing application and email programs
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate forklift in a safe, efficient matter.
- Willing to do physical work and have basic computer knowledge
