Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Shop hand in Centralia, IL!
Job Title: Shop Hand
Job Category: Full-Time
Contract Location: Centralia, IL
Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm | Monday - Friday
Similar Positions: Forklift, Shipping & Receiving, Mechanical
Pay: $18-$20/hr.
Responsibilities of Shop Hand:
- Self-starter/ Follow directions
- Some mechanical/electrical experience- operating equipment is a plus
- Equipment knowledge and troubleshooting knowledge
- Must have previous forklift experience & knowledge
- Lift 50lbs or heavier
- Reliable and timely to work daily
- Clean the inside and outside of machinery and equipment.
- Move materials of various weights; operate machinery and tools needed to perform work, including packing products.
- Keep work area free of debris, clean and safe for employees.
- Wear proper PPE
- Shipping and receiving experience (preferred)
- Requirements of Shop Hand:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Reliable and on Time
- Works well as a Team
- Multitask
- Forklift certified
- Shipping and receiving (preferred)
