Job Title: Fabrication Technician

Contract Location: Granite City, IL

Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

Compensation: $16/hr

Responsibilities of the Fabrication Technician:

• Operate a sit down or combi-lift forklift
• Manual labor, lifting up to 50lbs consecutively 
• Cleaning the facility as needed
• Assisting Fabricators in the customization process of utility poles
• Using hand tools and other specific types of machinery

Requirements for Fabrication Technician:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Steel Toe Boots are Required
• Must be able to meet client’s background and drug testing requirements.
• Good Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer Experience with manufacturing application and email programs
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate forklift in a safe, efficient matter.
• Willing to do physical work and have basic computer knowledge
