HireLevel is seeking an HCM Market Sales Manager to drive new client acquisition while leading and developing a growing Human Capital Management (HCM) sales team. This is a revenue-generating leadership role for a sales professional who excels at building relationships, prospecting, and closing new business while coaching others to achieve success.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually, plus commission opportunities

What You'll Do

The HCM Market Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth throughout the Raleigh market by generating new business, expanding strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
This role combines individual sales production with sales leadership and requires a proactive, consultative approach to selling. The successful candidate will build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, coach team members, and foster a culture of accountability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, implementation, and account transition.
  • Meet and exceed individual revenue and sales activity goals.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop sales professionals.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, sales strategy sessions, and performance discussions.
  • Monitor sales metrics and forecast business results accurately.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and support performance management initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with clients, referral partners, and community organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional client experience from sale through implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within Salesforce CRM.
  • Support corporate initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within Human Capital Management, payroll, HR services, staffing, or related industries. Experience with isolved a plus. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Previous sales leadership, coaching, or team development experience.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, forecasting, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally within the assigned market.

Preferred

  • Human Capital Management, payroll, PEO, benefits, HR technology, or workforce solutions sales experience.
  • Experience building and growing a market or territory from the ground up.
