Shift: Monday Through Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00/hr. (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities of Manual & CNC Machinist:- Operates, maintains, and set up CNC mills, lathes and manual machines.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, machining drawings, and 3D models
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, and finishing
- Run test cuts, verify tool paths, adjust offsets and parameters
- Select tooling, cutters, and materials; safely feed/handle stock
- Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges to verify tolerances
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections
- Document inspection results and report nonconforming parts
- Work with QC and Programmers to resolve issues
- Make minor CNC edits (offsets, speeds/feeds, tool changes)
- Assist with toolpath and machining efficiency improvements
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, chip management, and tool replacement
- Report mechanical issues and assist in troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, safety-driven workstation
- Follow MSHA/OSHA safety requirements and proper PPE use
- Understand lockout/tagout procedures
- Communicate tooling needs, delays, or quality concerns
- Work with Fabrication Leads, Welders, Machinists, and Engineers
Requirements of Manual & CNC Machinist:
2+ years of experience
Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and drawings
Proficiency with precision measuring tools
Strong understanding of machining fundamentals
Ability to safely operate both manual and CNC machines
Industrial, mining, or heavy-equipment machining experience
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred experience with FANUC, Haas, or similar controls
CAM exposure (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Etc.)
Preferred welding or fabrication experience
