Compensation and Benefits of the Extrusion Operator: $19.00- $20.00

The salary for extrusion operators is $19-20 per hour. Benefits offered upon direct hire

Responsibilities of the Extrusion Operator:

• Responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude or draw out thermoplastic materials to be made into pellets.
• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature.
• Synchronize speed of extrusion.
• Locate defects on extruded products.
• Check for conformance to specifications.
• Check to make sure material is labeled and packed into correct bins.
• Operate forklift to move materials.

Requirements of the Extrusion Operator:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous forklift and plastics manufacturing experience of at least 1 year required.
• Must meet requirements for drug screening and criminal background policies.
• Must be able to pass a mask fit test.
• Must have a resume to apply for this position.
