HireLevel is looking for a CNC Machinist in Raleigh, IL
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Raleigh, IL
Shift: Monday Through Friday: 6:00am – 4:30pm
Similar Positions: Gas torch cutting table, Plasma, CNC machine
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00/hr. (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities of Machinist:
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
- Ability to program CNC machines using Mastercam, Conversational and/or G-code languages.
Requirements of CNC Machinist:
- Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience
- Must be comfortable working with manual lathes, vertical turret mills, and CNC operated equipment.
- Ability to use jigs and fixtures to perform unconventional repairs. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on the machine.
- Problem-solving skills in order to detect issues in the creating process and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates the product provided in the draft
- High School Diploma or GED
