Job Description
HireLevel is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Granite City, IL!
Position: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Granite City, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Pay: $20-25 based on experience
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:
- Performs PM's on industrial equipment
- Troubleshooting and fixing industrial equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, weld machines, plasma tables, saw & blast machines
- Keep records up to date on equipment maintenance & repair
Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic:
- Mechanically inclined
- Must have knowledge about equipment operation, care & repair
- Ability to read manuals and troubleshoot problems
- Self-motivated, dependable, and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet background and drug screen requirements
