Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Part-time, Contract 

Location: Edwardsville, IL

Hours: 8am-4:30pm

Rate of Pay: $23

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work safely in an industrial plant environment
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Knowledge in preventative maintenance of process equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot process equipment
• Understanding of process flows and interpreting diagrams
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

• Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures
• Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems
• Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and chemical processes related the process industry
• Strong oral and written communication skills
