Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Maintenance Tech in Marion, IL.
Our Client is a state-of-the art retina care division focused solely on the care of retinal disease. They first opened their doors in 1974, they’ve grown into a multi-specialty ophthalmological practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical and optical services to the communities of southern Illinois and southeast Missouri.
Job Category: Full-Time:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Compensation: $21
Benefits: 401(k), Dental and health insurance, Paid time off
Responsibilities of Maintenance Tech:
- Perform preventative maintenance on optical machinery including lens grinders, edgers, blockers, and coating equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with optical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and calibrate measuring instruments such as lensometers and calipers.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of Maintenance Tech:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working on equipment/machines
- Experience with Medical terminology
- Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors
- Leadership capability
- Must meet requirements for criminal background clearance and drug testing policies
