Job Description
HireLevel is seeking Material Handlers in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Compensation: $18.38 - $20.21
Shift: 6:30am-3:30pm OR 2:30pm-11:00pm; Monday - Friday
Similar Positions: Warehouse Associate, Shipping and Receiving, Forklift Operator
Responsibilities of a Material Handler:
- Supports Warehouse, quality and production department to ensure on time receipt and delivery of material
- Ensure safe and damage-fee movement of material by use of pallet trucks and other equipment.
- Diagnose basic inventory discrepancies
- Assist in Warehouse duties of picking, packing, shipping, receiving and quality control
Requirements of a Material Handler:
- Has knowledge of material handling, work procedures, pick lists and protocols
- 6 months prior warehouse experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift 40lbs
- Able to work 12 hours days
- Availability to work OT
- Able to stand for long periods of time
