Job Duties of the Office Clerk:
Provide general clerical duties which include but are not limited to: data entry using Microsoft Word and Excel applications as well as Oracle business system, filing, scanning and copying.
Communicates directly with agents and outside sales representatives via phone and email to represent the company and enter orders.
Coordinates with Customer Service Reps and/or B-Line production and engineering to assist in the creation of additional SKUs. For prompt investigation and action as required.
Additional entry work may include but is nto limited to quality notifications, sample orders, RMAs, quotes, SPA maintenance, etc.
Responsible for ensuring issues are escalated to team leads/managers.
Ensure EDI & VMI orders are released in a timely manner throughout the day.
Accurately processes all customer orders (received via phone, fax or electronically from manufacturers reps and distributors).
Coordinates with Customer Service Reps and/or other departments to enter lead times and delivery dates for product which is not in stock.
Job Requirements of the Office Clerk:
Incumbent must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of personnel.
Person must also be a team player and must be accurate and able to provide timely responses.
1-3 years of experience in similar role
Ability to pass client's background and drug screen requirements.
