Responsibilities of the Payroll Operations Manager:

Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations

Participate in long-term planning, including initiative geared towards operational excellence

Drive productivity by standardizing work and creating and documenting efficient processes/procedures

Provides guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards, monitoring, and reporting performance.

Provide daily supervision, act as coach/mentor and assist with career pathing and succession

Recommends and implements measures to improve staff motivations while embracing our company culture

Foster a collaborative environment where mutual trust and respect are core values

Delegate tasks to team members to achieve deadlines and adjust client workloads when necessary

Serve as the team s representative on corporate projects and initiatives where appropriate

Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training of staff, and conducting performance evaluations

Other duties as assigned



Requirements of the Payroll Operations Manager:

Bachelor s degree required

You must be exceptionally proficient with QuickBooks

2 years work-related experience in accounting required

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures.

Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits.

Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, and Word.

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.

Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality of sensitive information.

Ability to maintain a professional manner in a fast paced environment

Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy.

Ability to interpret data and make cost effective decisions.

Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressures.

Demonstrated ability in dealing directly with clients and management.

Must meet requirements for background and drug testing policies
