HireLevel is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Representative for an insurance broker in Edwardsville, IL. The Personal Lines Insurance Representative will be responsible for servicing, marketing and managing a personal lines book of business. The candidate must be professional, well organized and detail orientated with a willingness to help build a growing agency. 

As a growing insurance brokerage in the mid-west, our client works as a partnership with clients to provide ideas and solutions customized to their specific needs. For 28 years, our client has been strengthened through private ownership, whereby brokers have a vested interest in assuring value-added services to each client. Benefits:

• Pay: $45,000-$55,000 DOE
• 401(k) 
• Medical, Dental and Vision insurance (Client pays ½ of medical premiums)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Personal Lines Insurance Broker
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including but not limited to, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing clarifications
• Manage files, including maintaining records and making updates as needed
• Account marketing from multiple insurance carriers 
• Sales support team member 

• Focus on client relationship development

• Commitment to developing thorough knowledge and understanding of insurance products and underwriting requirements of each company to determine where and how to place coverage

Job Requirements:

• Insurance license with Personal Lines background
• Organized, self-starter who strives to provide quality support and outstanding service
• Customer Service skills including excellent phone/communication skills 
• Ability to work effectively with others to complete projects or meet critical deadlines according to quality requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail with professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
