Job Title: Picker Packer, Temp to Hire
Location: Evansville, IN
Shift
1st Shift: 6:45 am – 3:15pm | Monday through Friday, Saturday with possible overtime
2nd shift: 3:30 pm- 12:00 am  | Monday through Friday, Saturday with possible overtime
3rd shift: 7:30pm - 6:00am  | Friday through Monday, Tuesday with possible overtime

Compensation and Benefits of the Picker/Packer:
Starting salary for this position is $14.00 - $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Picker Packers:
  • Unload pallets of merchandise onto conveyor for sortation
  • De-case product from pallets into trays
  • Build and break down boxes
  • Use scanner to sort merchandise
  • Inspect for damage or loss in all inbound cartons of merchandise

Job Requirements of the Picker Packers:
  • Ability to stack and carry 50 lbs. constantly.
  • Must Fluently read, write and speak English
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Ability to operate a hand-held scanner
  • Must meet requirements for drug screening and criminal background policies. 
  • Job Descriptions 
    Job Summary: The Processing Clerk manually prepares product for store shipment.

    Overtime is mandatory when needed, could work before/after shift or Saturday’s. 

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
    Alternative Processing (AP):
    • Resolves product discrepancies, such as price labels, case labels and any other product issues.
    • Sorts, scans, and packages accessories for shipment.
  • Box Line:
    • Builds cardboard cartons, affixes labels, and prepares boxes for use in Tilt Tray. 
  • De-Case:
    • Unpacks cartons and places individual shoe boxes on powered conveyor.
  • Tilt Tray:
    • Scans and packs individual shoe boxes from Tilt Tray Sorter System into cartons by store location.

  • Requirements: 
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently.
    • Ability to work overtime including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. 
    • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.



  • Job Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk manually loads and unloads merchandise.

    Overtime is mandatory when needed, could work before/after shift or Saturday’s. 

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
    Shipping:
    • Loads merchandise from a conveyor onto semi-trailer for shipment.
    • Sorts and stacks cases onto pallets or conveyor by reading case labels.
  • Receiving: (very physical job)
    • Unloads merchandise from semi-trailers to a conveyor. 
    • Inspects cartons of merchandise for damages.
    • Audits product content prior to unloading merchandise.

  • Requirements: 
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and up to 30 pounds continuously.
    • Ability to work overtime including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. 
    • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
