Job Description
HireLevel is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our Shipping & Receiving Department in a Processing Clerk role. This position is designed as a structured training opportunity for individuals who want to build skills in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and logistics.
This role serves as the foundation for advancement within the department. Employees who demonstrate accuracy, productivity, and reliability are expected to progress to Shipping/Receiving II within approximately six months, with a corresponding pay increase.

Responsibilities of Shipping/Receiving Associate
· Pick customer book orders accurately with strong attention to detail
· Apply labels, stamps, security strips, barcodes, and other processing materials according to customer specifications
· Ensure all processed books meet quality and accuracy standards
· Sort, label, and organize books on shelves or designated storage areas
· Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment
· Follow department standards and procedures for book processing and order preparation
Requirements of Shipping/Receiving Associate
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or production experience preferred but not required
· Basic computer skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
· Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Environment
· Climate-controlled warehouse
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
· Repetitive hand-based tasks
· Fast-paced during peak fulfillment periods
