Job Description
HireLevel is looking for multiple Production Operators in Indianapolis, IN!
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Line Worker to join our team in a chemical plant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling sealed product bags on the assembly line, ensuring quality control specific to chemical products, and maintaining an organized work area. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential in this role, especially in a setting that adheres to strict industry standards.
Job Title: Production Operator
Job Category: Long-term; temp-to-hire.
Contract Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: Monday - Friday : 11:00pm - 7:30am
Similar Positions: Production Associate, General Laborer, Assembly.
Compensation: $21.06 per hour
Responsibilities for Production Operator:
- Stand at the assembly line for the duration of the shift.
- Inspect sealed bags of product for quality and integrity.
- Lift and carry 50 lb bags, placing them onto pallets.
- Stack bags neatly and securely on pallets to ensure stability during storage and transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements for Production Operator:
- High School diploma or GED not required, if candidate has work experience.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
