HireLevel is looking for a Parts Assembler in St. Charles, MO!

Location: St. Charles, MO | This is not on the bus line
Shifts: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 6am - 2:30p & 10:30a - 7p
Compensation: $18.47 - $19.47/hr.

Responsibilities of Assembler:
- Assembles, packages and labels products.
- Operates equipment and tools as required.
- Maintains assembly jigs, hand tools and equipment in good working order.
- Has basic product knowledge; knows which parts belong on specific products being assembled, model numbers, bearings, nuts, bolts, etc.
- Continuously produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision.
- Arranges own assembly area for the efficient assembly of all products.
- Notifies production supervisor of tools in need of repair, low inventory or items used daily and poor quality of product being assembled.
- Produces quality finished goods with acceptable workmanship and few rejects.
- Prints blueprints form engineering folders.
- Guides small groups of associates on special tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements of Assembler:
- Previous manufacturing assembly experience.
- Shows initiative and the ability to begin and follow a job through to completion with little supervision.
- Capable of balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to work overhead.
- Able to Walk or stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.
- Use with power/hand tools.
