Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Burn Table Operator to work in a fast paced, team-oriented, friendly environment in St. Louis, MO.
Category: Full Time
Shift: Monday -Thursday | 6:00am - 4:30pm
Location: St. Louis, MO
Compensation of Burn Table Operator: up to $19.50/hr.
Responsibilities of the Burn Table Operator:
- Program standard shapes into operation
- Operate Bury controls on ESAB burn table by monitoring cutting and adjusting heat in torches, pre heat times, and pierce rate.
- Unload skeleton and parts using overhead crane, jib crane and /or magnets
- Clean and scrape parts and cut up scrap
- Perform duties needed and as directed by Shop supervisor

Qualifications of a Burn Table Operator:
- At last 1 year experience operating a Plasma/frame cutting table using CNC control systems
- Must be able to effectively read blue-prints when necessary, using critical thinking to recognize appropriate configurations and cutting when needed.
Preferred Skills and Experience of a Burn Table Operator:
- 2-5 years’ experience operating a burn table or plasma cutting tale
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Welder fitter who can supply their own tool
- Strong familiarity with the following systems and equipment: Burny Phantom 11
