Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Work with the Project Superintendent to insure governmental compliance such OSHA and EPA standards
Accurately report the profitability on the project, maintain budgets and reports on project risks on a monthly basis at a minimum
Proactively manage projects; anticipate problems before they happen and work with Superintendent and Directors to resolve them
Develop detailed schedule with input from Superintendent and Subcontractors
Oversee the procurement process, the Change Management Program for the project, and ensure the Quality Control Program is implemented
Consult with Directors on all issues that could potentially result in legal action
Keep team adequately informed by communicating clearly both verbally and in writing
Prepare Schedule of Values, oversee the preparation and approve Billings to Owner
Review labor cost and job cost monthly with superintendent except when self-performing work; then review labor cost weekly or as directed by the Process Manual
Develop and update a detailed schedule with input from the Superintendent and Subcontractors
Prepare or oversee the preparation of closeout documents
Requirements of the Project Manager:
5+ years experience in constructions as a Project Engineer and/or Assistant Project Manager or a Bachelor s degree in construction or closely related field and 5 years Project Engineer experience
Completed, or will complete within a year, the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Course
Willing to travel
Able to traverse uneven walking/working surfaces, climb stairs, and climb ladders up to 30 feet at jobsites
