Location: Vienna, IL
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities of a Purchasing Clerk:
- Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department
- Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
- Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
- Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required
Requirements of a Purchasing Clerk:
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of computer systems: SAP, MINS, ORACLE,DAB
- Experience with shipping and receiving
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management systems
