Responsibilities of the Receptionist/Membership Clerk:
- Greet visitors and answer incoming calls professionally and courteously.
- Maintain accurate membership records and process updates or changes.
- Assist members with portal access, including password resets and profile updates.
- Generate membership reports and assist with preparing annual directory materials.
- Manage outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Assist with office supply and beverage inventory coordination.
- Process event registration payments and accurately track attendee information.
- Support on-site event registration and help prepare name badges and materials.
- Support general office duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements of the Receptionist/Membership Clerk:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Must maintain confidentiality of member data and records.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
