HireLevel is looking for a Distribution Center Leads in Hazelwood, MO.

The Distribution Center Lead who will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within an assigned area (Shipping/Receiving, Packaging, Pick/Pack/Ship). These roles ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and service-level commitments are met within their functional area.

Location: Hazelwood, MO

Shift: Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm

Compensation: $22/hr.

Responsibilities of the Distribution Leads:

• Lead daily activities for the assigned functional area to meet throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipment goals
• Assign labor and prioritize work queues based on volume and operational needs
• Monitor workflow and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, damages, or system exceptions
• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, scanners)
• Reinforce attendance, productivity, and quality standards
• Enforce all safety policies and company standards
• Identify and communicate workplace safety hazards
• Adhere to safety management standards and OSHA/ANSI Compliant policies

Requirements of the Distribution Leads:

• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience
• 1+ year in a lead, trainer, or informal leadership role
• Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and RF scanning
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and handheld scanners
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication

Note: This job requires the ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds and stand up to 4 hours at a time.
