Technician
Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Finishing Technician in Fenton, MO.
Clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility!
Job Category: Temporary (30-90 days)
Location: Fenton, MO
Compensation: $18-20 per hour based on experience
Shift: Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. To 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
Perform metal finishing operations including:
Sandblasting
Tumbler operation
Heat treating
Electropolishing
Passivation equipment operation to enhance corrosion resistance of metal products
Set up, operate, and monitor finishing equipment according to established procedures
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and written work instructions
Accurately complete process documentation and production records
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements of a the Quality Inspector:
Some experience in metal finishing or manufacturing preferred, but not required
Ability to learn and follow detailed work instructions
Basic understanding of mechanical processes and equipment
Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical aspects of the job
Willingness to learn new processes through on-the-job training
