Job Description
HireLevel is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work in a fast paced, team-oriented, friendly environment in St. Louis, MO.
Category: Full Time
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 6:00am-4:30pm
Location: St. Louis, MO
Compensation of Assembler: $15 - $26/hr. (Based on experience)
Responsibilities of Mechanical Assembly
- Read, setup and assemble from blueprints.
- Operate all assembly equipment.
- Assist in expediting shop production and perform as directed by shop supervision
- Must possess the following tools, which are not provided by the company:
- tool box with lock, set of standard and Phillips head screwdrivers, combination end wrenches from 3/8” – 3/4", 3/8” – 3/4" sockets, 8” crescent wrench, channel lock pliers, needle nose pliers, standard set of allen wrenches, tape measure (length), set of hand wrenches, 3” and 1.5" socket set, hand hammer.
Requirements of Mechanical Assembly
- 2+ years of experience.
- Experience as a millwright.
- Experience rebuilding engines or performing industrial mechanical work.
- Knowledge or experience with inspections and/or quality assurance.
- Experience, and ability to function successfully in, any of the following industrial capacities: fabrication, welding, fitting, painting, sandblasting, machining, electrical, warehouse or shipping.
