HireLevel is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Sauget, IL. The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of the warehousing and delivery functions, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, and shipping.  This role will be responsible for hiring, staffing, training, and leading the warehouse-logistics team’s day-to-day operations for multiple locations.  If critical thinking is a strength of yours, you love leading an amazing team and have experience in warehouse management then you should apply!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and supervise the receiving, handling, storage, picking, and delivery of customer orders

• Accountable for inventory control, warehouse capacity utilization, and warehouse management

• Collaborate with 3^rd party logistics, carriers, and freight forwarders to insure timely delivery to our customers

• Provide regular updates (daily, weekly monthly) to management to insure open lines of communication

• Manage both shipping and receiving functions for the Sauget & Valmeyer warehouses and any associated 3^rd party warehouses

• Establish and hold the team accountable for appropriate KPIs and review against performance standards and enterprise objectives 

• Strategize with management, sales, and the ops team to maximize output, drive down costs, and improve operational efficiencies

• Initiate short and long-term capital projects, determining the need, objective, scope, metrics, cost, and ROI and identifying the necessary resources

• Foster an environment that supports the core values of Respect, Integrity, and Stewardship setting an example through actions and behaviors

• Mentor, develop, and build a leadership team to achieve a high level of performance

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) and/or 5+ years of Warehousing management experience 
• Knowledge of warehouse, inventory control and distributions systems and industry regulation requirements
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
• Ability to motivate, inspire and a lead a team to collectively meet objectives
• Strong analytical and process management skills, including the skill to identify business needs, develop solutions and convert ideas into action
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and commitment for continuous improvement
• Ability to teach, train, and coach others regardless of their hierarchy in the workplace
• Flexibility to work Monday-Saturday
