HireLevel is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Sauget, IL. The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of the warehousing and delivery functions, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, and shipping. This role will be responsible for hiring, staffing, training, and leading the warehouse-logistics team’s day-to-day operations for multiple locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, monitor, and supervise the receiving, handling, storage, picking, and delivery of customer orders
Accountable for inventory control, warehouse capacity utilization, and warehouse management
Collaborate with 3rd party logistics, carriers, and freight forwarders to insure timely delivery to our customers
Provide regular updates (daily, weekly monthly) to management to insure open lines of communication
Manage both shipping and receiving functions for the Sauget & Valmeyer warehouses and any associated 3rd party warehouses
Establish and hold the team accountable for appropriate KPIs and review against performance standards and enterprise objectives
Strategize with management, sales, and the ops team to maximize output, drive down costs, and improve operational efficiencies
Initiate short and long-term capital projects, determining the need, objective, scope, metrics, cost, and ROI and identifying the necessary resources
Foster an environment that supports the core values of Respect, Integrity, and Stewardship setting an example through actions and behaviors
Mentor, develop, and build a leadership team to achieve a high level of performance
